Something to Remember – Prima che il tempo cambi brings together three distinctive musicians: singer Anna Maria Castelli, accordionist Gianni Coscia and pianist Renato Sellani. Their artistic meeting, originating at the Gaume Jazz Festival, developed into an intimate programme of jazz standards, Italian songs and traditional repertoire. The interplay of voice, accordion and piano favours tone and expression, from Lover Man and My Funny Valentine to Vedrai, vedrai and Tammurriata nera. The tracklist differs by format: nine performances on the LP and thirteen on the DSD and Hi-Res files.

Recording and mastering

The project grew from the musicians' encounter at the Gaume Jazz Festival; the sources consulted do not establish one definitive recording date for the album. Fonè documents analogue mastering, cutting and One-Stage pressing on 180 g vinyl for the LP, mastered by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the valve-based Signoricci system. The place of the original artistic encounter is not presented as a verified recording location.
