Music, editions and recording details
Classical guitar and double bass come together in a twelve-part conversation inspired by Keith Jarrett. Pietro Ballestrero and Davide Liberti blend original improvisations with interpretations of Memories of Tomorrow and Country, recalling the spirit of Jarrett's 1975 Köln Concert.
A dialogue with Keith Jarrett
Tracks 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 11 grew from the duo's improvisations around harmonies associated with Jarrett's solo playing. The programme also includes Alec Wilder's Moon and Sand and original pieces by the two musicians.
