Music, editions and recording details
Ciao Fred! is The Metronomes' tribute to Fred Buscaglione and, in several selections, to Renato Carosone and postwar Italian swing. The trio embraces swing, boogie and jumpin' jive without a double bassist: the piano's left hand supplies the bass line. Guests Marco Strano on tenor saxophone and Michele Giacomazzi on acoustic guitar expand the ensemble.
