Music, editions and recording details

Sasha Mashin joins alto saxophonist Rosario Giuliani and double bassist Makar Novikov in a piano-free trio. Happy Run combines pieces by the three musicians with interpretations of other repertoire, from the ballad Darn the Dream to Suite et Poursuite. Its title reflects the drummer’s personal journey and arrival in Rome: a new home and a new musical encounter.
