Ornette! is Ornette Coleman's 1961 Atlantic album, reissued by Speakers Corner on a 180g all-analogue LP. Coleman plays alto saxophone with Don Cherry on pocket trumpet, Scott LaFaro on double bass and Ed Blackwell on drums. Recorded just after Free Jazz, the session reveals the quartet's open forms and agile interplay, including LaFaro's first recorded collaboration with Coleman.
