Music, editions and recording details

Piano, accordion, clarinets and saxophones bring jazz and Argentine rhythms together in compositions by Oscar Del Barba and Fausto Beccalossi. Joined by Guido Bombardieri, the trio explores candombe, milonga and chacarera, leaving room for Italian melodic sensibility and improvisation. The name ItUAr brings together Italy, the USA and Argentina: three points of reference that shape an eight-piece programme, from Danza dei trolls to Child Eyes, recorded live in the studio in October 2006.
