GOLD FINGERS - 30° ANNIVERSARY - Massimo Salvagnini Quintet, Patrizia Laquidara

The Massimo Salvagnini Quintet reimagines familiar film themes and songs in the language of jazz. Gold Fingers – 30° Anniversary centres on Salvagnini's tenor saxophone in conversation with guitar, double bass, drums and percussion. The repertoire ranges from As Time Goes By and the themes of Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice to Suicide Is Painless and music from Taxi Driver. Patrizia Laquidara guests on the vocal version of Goldfinger. The vinyl programme and digital file are not identical: the LP contains seven tracks, while the download includes eleven.
