Music, editions and recording details
Pangea is a project by pianist and composer Oscar Del Barba, dedicated to nature and to the need for renewed environmental awareness. His trio with Salvatore Maiore on double bass and Roberto Dani on drums joins forces with guest soprano saxophonist Javier Girotto. Contemporary jazz, lyricism and South American colours meet across nine original compositions, from Paesaggi del cielo to Sera.
