Music, editions and recording details

Michele Bonivento brings jazz, soul and gospel together with Mediterranean colours, moving between piano, organ, Wurlitzer, keyboards and vocoder. Nuances features eleven pieces and a wide-ranging ensemble of soloists: the rhythm section meets reeds, electric guitar, cello and harmonica, with guest vocals from Kenn Bailey and Heloisa “Luma” Lourenco completing the palette. Blues feeling, a focus on melody and varied arrangements connect the programme.
