Music, editions and recording details
Just Here, Right There by the Tiger Dixie Band takes listeners on a journey through early jazz, framed as an imaginary trip from Italy to New York, New Orleans and Chicago, before returning home. Eighteen tracks pay tribute to Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton, Nick LaRocca, Louis Armstrong and Bix Beiderbecke, mixing ragtime, Dixieland and new compositions. Conceived by Enrico Merlin and developed into a story by Andrea Manfredi, the narrative accompanies the music while leaving the track programme clearly identifiable.
