The recording was made direct to stereo master, strictly live-in-studio, during only one session at MagisterArea Studios, Main Hall, Preganziol, Italy, on September 23rd, 2017 THIS IS A PURE AUDIOPHILE RECORDING: during the recording of the digital HD PCM 88.2kHz/24bit master and the contemporary analog master and the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was transformerless. The signal was not passed through any processing device (no compression, no equalization and no corrective editing) at any step during production.

Presentation by Lucia Minetti:

Over the years, I have sung and loved many repertoires, exploring different soundscapes, from fado to Brazilian music, from French song to jazz. Since my album Elle, released in 2003 with my maestro Giorgio Gaslini, this is my first album entirely dedicated to the standards of the great American songbook. It's almost like a long-awaited return, achieved with the maturity gained after a long journey, to the heart of what has always been the main point of reference in my career. As if it were part of one's nature, jazz can be a way for a musician to relate to art in general, a desire for freedom, a desire to experience ever-new emotions, to take risks and put oneself on the line every time one expresses oneself. Together with Pietro and Stefano, I have found a profound sharing of this spirit, this nature, which we have chosen to call JAZZ NATURE, and which has immediately been the key to interpreting a vast repertoire of songs, from the 1930s to the 1970s, finding our group sound and selecting the songs for the album with great pleasure. Fully grasping the philosophy of this research and projecting us completely into the era of that jazz, Marco Lincetto proposed a strictly live studio recording method, which would maximize the characteristics of our "NATURE" approach, as well as the extraordinary technical qualities of audio recording. We enthusiastically accepted the difficult challenge and shared an incredible experience: two days during which the music was played, sung, listened to, and recorded with the same tension and emotional intensity experienced at the best concerts.
