Electric guitar, bass and drums: Michele Giacomazzi, Francesco Giacomelli and Diego Vergari form a power trio spanning electric jazz, blues and rock. Hot Wire centres on the interplay between the three instruments, pairing Robben Ford’s Freedom, Life Song and The Brother with Wayne Shorter’s Footprints, Kenny Burrell’s Chitlins Con Carne and Blues in Fa#, written by the trio. This live recording brings their groove to the fore.
