Pianist Massimo Parente, percussionist Berlen and double bassist Pasquale Gadaleta are joined by the Tommaso Traetta String Orchestra and guest soloists. Originals sit alongside music by Benny Golson, Steve Swallow, Bill Evans and Jimmy Rowles, with echoes of southern Italian musical traditions.
