Music, editions and recording details

Camille brings voice, piano and cello together in a musical narrative inspired by Camille Claudel. Alessia Martegiani, Massimiliano Coclite and Francesco Mariozzi shape eight compositions in which chamber writing meets song, with late-Romantic influences and Impressionist colours.

The exchange between words and music runs through the project: Promenade and Ninna Nanna per Paul grew from Martegiani’s texts, while Acqua began with Coclite’s musical inspiration. Voice and cello shape the lyrical character of an album without a rhythm section.
