ANDAR LIVE | Bianchini, Biondini, Pietropaoli

Eleonora Bianchini's voice, Luciano Biondini's accordion and Enzo Pietropaoli's double bass come together on Andar Live for a programme crossing jazz, Italian song and Brazilian repertoire. Recorded live in Pontedera in March 2019, the trio interprets music by Jobim, Fossati, Stevie Wonder, Suzanne Vega and Bruno Lauzi, with three solo features: Amapola for voice, Geppetto for accordion and Attenti al lupo for double bass. The LP contains ten tracks, while the SACD and digital editions offer twelve.

Recording and mastering

Recorded live on 23 March 2019 at the Auditorium of the Museo Piaggio in Pontedera, during the fonè Music Festival Piaggio. Conceived, recorded and produced by Giulio Cesare Ricci with recording assistant Paola Liberato. Neumann U47, U48 and M49 valve microphones and Signoricci components were used. The masters involved an Ampex ATR 102 analogue tape machine and a Pyramix DSD digital system with dCS converters.

Edition technology

The LP is documented as a One-Stage pressing on 180 g virgin vinyl, from an analogue master prepared with the Signoricci system, in a limited edition of 496 copies.
