AMOR Y PASION - Oscar Del Barba

Oscar Del Barba weaves jazz, tango and chamber-music writing into eight original compositions. Piano, accordion, reeds, strings and the voice of Franca Masu suggest South American rhythms while retaining the harmonic depth and freedom of contemporary jazz.

Eight portraits between jazz and tango

El Niño, País, Gato borracho and Plaza de Mayo explore Latin American colours; Argento vivo, Lettera canzone and Il cuore muto reveal the ensemble's lyrical side. All music was written by Oscar Del Barba, with sung lyrics by Alan Zamboni.
